High THCa products are all the new craze right now! THCA (tetrahydrocannabinol-acid) is the mother of all types of THC. Delta-9 THC and Delta-8 THC both begin as THCA in their journey to producing a psychoactive high when consumed. In fact, THCA is not psychoactive and will not produce a “high”. It is only once the high THCA products are converted into the active Delta-9 THC, that the psychoactive high effects take place.

What Is THCA
The conversion of THCA to THC is through a process called decarboxylation, or decarbing for short. Decarbing happens when THCA is exposed to heat and the A (acid) is removed leaving behind regular old Delta-9 THC.
If you have ever made cannabis edibles before, you may remember putting the cannabis on a tray and into the oven before infusing it into butter or oil. This step was to decarb your buds to convert THCA to the active THC.
High THCA products like THCA Pre Rolls and flower will produce a psychoactive high like that felt when using marijuana.
Decarboxylation occurs as the flower or pre roll is smoked. The heat does all the work. The simple act of smoking a THCA pre roll will change it from inactive to active. Science!
Why High THCA Products?
All high THCA products must legally contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC as stated under the Farm Bill (2018). Be sure to check for up-to-date lab results before purchasing any hemp products in general. You want to be sure the products are within the legal Delta-9 THC limits.
You also want to be sure the levels of THCA are what is advertised. If you have any questions, a company representative should be able to provide you with a timely and knowledgeable answer.
High THCA products will most likely cause positive results on marijuana drug tests. If you have to pass an upcoming marijuana drug test, do not use high THCA products.
How To Use High THCA Products for Sale
To use high THCA products like THCA pre rolls, first place the end of the joint with the paper filter/crutch between your lips. Make sure you purse your lips to create an airtight seal around the joint’s mouthpiece. Now take a source of heat like a lit match or lighter to the other end of the joint. Let the flame engulf just the tip of the joint and begin to inhale slowly and deep.
It can help to “puff” on the joint a few times to stoke the members at the tip. Short and rapid inhales can accomplish this. Once the joint is fully lit, take deep inhales then immediately exhale. There is no need to hold in the smoke longer than half a second as more than 95% of the cannabinoids have already been absorbed.
Exhale fully before taking another inhale. If you do not wish to finish the joint in a single sitting, you can stamp out the lit end on a hard and nonflammable surface. Just relight it when you are ready to go again.
It is important to remember that you can always take one more puff, but you cannot take one less. Start slow. Build up slowly. This way you can find your perfect dose without overshooting it. Maybe begin with just a couple or a few puffs. Wait about 5-10 minutes before enjoying more. Inhaling is the quickest method of absorption and the one with the highest absorbancy rate. The smoke goes directly from your lungs to the bloodstream. Effects can usually be felt instantly.
Edible high THCA products will not produce any psychoactive high because the THCA will not decarb before being ingested. As a reminder, THCA is not a psychoactive cannabinoid. Only once it is converted to Delta-9 THC does it become active.
